went for the primer's pool competition at amk k pool on sat morning. its just a friendly competition la, not those professional ones. the registration fee was touted to be $8.50 with lunch and since i've got nothing to do till 3pm, i joined at the last min with chun meng coz he seemed quite gian to win something...haha. only when i reached there did i find out that the lunch was cancelled to raise the prize money for the top 3 winners and there wont be any free table for the people who got kicked out earlier to play on. sian 1/2 but still decided to play as far as i can in the competition. got fourth. din really meet any very good players on the way except maybe for zhinan (chun meng is good but not what i would call top notch yet ;) ). he is the only person with evidence of cue ball positioning by application of english. haha sounds chim. basically he is able to place the white ball wherever he wants it to be la.
went skating with the mumbo peeps at east coast park. supposed to meet them at 3pm but was late by half an hour. i decided to skate from the bus stop to east coast park as i were quite late. this was the 1st time i did so and luckily din meet with any mishap...hee. pamela and her friend came in skirts sia (duh) but the skirt her friend is wearing is really nice. tink she din really enjoy herself as her friend didnt want to skate and was quite pissed by the hot weather. her friend was pretty but too bad she's too young (only 16)...hehe. skate for only slightly more than 2 hours before they wanted to set off for the chingay. kaoz...david still promised me to skate for at least 3 hours. damn dulan with them for asking me to go down east coast just to skate for a while when they know i wont be going chingay with them. in the end i decided to stay and skate for a while more b4 going home to try to study for my medical radiation science test on mon (impt one!). i didnt.
waikiki on sunday! *sighs*. din actually get to play in the beach vball competition as my friend wanted to stay at home to study for the mrs test even after persistent cajoling. its damn paiseh can. all my team mates were expecting to play and i didnt know how to tell them. i happened to name our team walkover also. to add salt to the wound, i registered through my friend who is helping in the organising and she said our team name is very misleading then. really din expect to walkover loh. imagine them calling for team walkover umpteen times on the loudhailer to report. so ironic. hai...at least we managed to claim the goodie bags. played some 2-2 with my team mates b4 heading home after lunch. promised myself to stay at home to study after the waikiki. i did go home but i slept all the way till 7 plus from 3 plus. told myself to study after sleeping. after dinner, i sat down and started watching the ru lai shen zhang serial on tv. didnt stop until it finished at 9. after that i tried to study but was super unproductive. my mind kept wandering off and i only studied 2 sets of notes in 1 hour. at 10 i couldnt resist switching on the tv to watch black hawk down even though i had watched it b4. and so i spent 3 hours watching the show. at 1am, i tried to study again but i soon fell asleep.
went to school at 10. luckily the test is at 3. so i skipped all the lectures to study in the library. and i passed! so happy can. the test for the 2 most impt modules are over and i managed to get reasonable results for my mrs. tink this sem topics are so much easier than the last. either that or i have finally got used to radiographic terminology and their style of assessment :p .
okie have some time to relax before patient care test on fri. dunno what it would be like as amarjit refused to let us know anything about the test, not even the format. signing off...
