saturday's sun was so~ hot. forgot to put on sunscreen on my face and it has turned red after a day at sentosa. an unlucky thing happened to me at sentosa. i put my ripcurl singlet on top of my bag at a pavilion and at the end of the day when i went back, my singlet was gone! i had no other shirt with me so after bathing i had to walk to the nearest shops at coastes to buy something to wear. luckily for me the billabong shop was still open and i bought a singlet from there. if not i would be forced to buy some sentosa souvenir t-shirt that i will never wear again.
went to our class chalet at the chevrons. for the uninitiated it is some sort of a country club for saf people much like safra. wanted to go ice skating at first but turned out we didnt have time to go and most of them didnt bring long pants. the barbeque could have been better had not the fire been so strong. nonetheless i still enjoyed the food and the process of preparing it. i passed out for the first time in my life at the chalet. they were trying out this method of hyperventilating and holding ur breath to make yourself blackout for a few seconds. i've heard about shallow waters blackout before but had never tried it. the concept is that by hyperventilating, u are decreasing the amount of carbon dioxide in your lungs. hence when u hold your breath, ur brain will not feel the need to breathe until there is no oxygen left, causing a blackout. tso rern was the first to try and he succeeded on the first try because he had already done it before. jessie kept laughing when chie sing applied pressure on her chest. after umpteen tries, just when we least expect it, she fainted. i was the last one to try. i blacked out on the second try after fadzillah made me laughed on the first one. thinking back, it was kinda dangerous. anyone with a weak heart or body might never regain consciousness. i only tried because i thought it wouldnt cause any harm as permanent brain damage only occurs after a few minutes of hypoxia (oxygen shortage). luckily nothing happened to any of us who tried and the rest were too scared to try.
going clubbing tomorrow. it's been a long time ;)
