primers orientation camp was a success. it was so much different from last year. the games were well thought out and creative. the only drawback was that the camp was too short and too little time to play the games. im most satisfied with the lodging this time round. this is the first camp i've been to that has a air-conditioned dorm, spring mattress and heater in the toilet. this in contrast to a foam mattress, 2 fans in the room for 10 and a makeshift toilet last year. however im a tad disappointed with the logistic team as often they are unable to set up the stations for the activity on time. but this is only because im spoilt by the logistic team in camp mumbo where they will work tirelessly to the extent of not sleeping and eating. i understand that it is a difficult job so credits to the committee and logistic team.
went to jb with some friends after i broke camp on sunday afternoon. despite rushing home in a cab, i was still late. hayden did not renew his passport so he couldnt cross the customs so only the 4 of us proceeded on. it was a blessing in disguise for us as it is easier to share a cab with 4 persons. dun worry hayden, we'll lend u all the dvds we bought ;) . had a sumptuous seafood dinner. me and marvin went to buy some durians after our meal. after seeing the size of the durians (big), we decided on 2 but the hawker keep insisting its not enough for us and made us take 3. it was very cheap and nice but we felt so terrible after finishing the durians coz we were full to the brim. tso rern went to puke in the toilet to relieve himself. we had to take a stroll to a shopping centre coz it was agonising for us to continue sitting down. damn it, i must eat the durians on another day with an empty stomach.
some update on my attachment. still at gleneagles this week. i was awfully tired on monday morning due to the lack of sleep from the camp. it was a long and hard day for me. there was a small conflict between me and my classmate today. to cut the long story short i didnt check the positioning for her when it was her first time doing that projection and when it turned out bad, i pushed the blame to her and claimed credit for the good image. so she said something very nasty to me. first of all, it was her who said that she wanted to try that projection since she just learnt it. my style is to always let the person try it on their own so even though im in the room i wont say anything. those who have worked with me before can testify to this. secondly i did do a nice x-ray for a projection i've just learnt and i was naturally happy abt it so yes i did claim credit for it. lastly the nasty thing she said has got nothing to do with this incident. i understood her point of view after hearing her explanation why she got pissed off. there she was needing supervision and i was just standing there doing nothing when all the while she thought i was checking for her. to her i also had a part in the rejected image. ok i admit its my fault for not checking and risking the patient for a repeat. seeing how she's an independant girl i assumed things. well, the misunderstanding was cleared at the end of the day eventually. hope this incident wont spoil our friendship.
so saddening that attachment is ending soon...
so be it then...time for me to start my physical training and to learn the theory part about the projections i've learnt...
