took part in the quiksilver student 4 on 4 volleyball competition today. i originally had high hopes of getting into the quarter finals but it turned out to be a disaster. played 5 matches against relatively weak teams. dun ask me how many we've won. everyone was not themselves today. is it really nyp's curse that we always cannot perform well in competition? once in the competitive setting, we failed to do all the things we are capable of doing. but overall i am quite okay with my performance. not that i was brilliant but at least i think i played close to my potential. however i think my desire to win affected the team morale quite badly...but i was really very disappointed. sorry guys. stayed behind to play more volleyball and to watch the final. played this 2 on 2 with ruoci. enjoyed myself thoroughly...she keep giving me nice sets to spike =) .
another week of school again. getting the monday blues already. and no more beach volleyball to curb my withdrawal symptoms this coming weekend as im going to bangkok. im not sure im going to enjoy myself there coz im so broke. this week gotta scrimp and save liao. more abt the trip when i come back :) .
