it's been a long while folks. back to blogging again. to me holiday has just started. had quite an eventful week. went inline skating with the evil clan on tuesday. originally had to work on tat day but luckily the roadshow was cancelled. haven skate for a long long time and was quite excited abt it. din skate much at all as much of the time was spent teaching them but it was still fun to spread my love of skating ;) .
bought and finished a jap serial drama about volleyball called attack no 1. its a very touching show. it will touch ur heart especially if u love volleyball. there is at least one scene on every disc that is tear wrenching. reminded me of the jap serial gto. somehow they are always so nobel and their words are so touching. if u are interested to watch let me know or if u got channel 56 on scv it is screening every mon and tue starting from 21 nov.
finally subscribed to cable tv. nobody got time to watch tv at home previously so all this while we didnt subscribe. now that world cup looms ahead, i knew i had to watch it. just as well they had this very tempting promotion going on with a free digital camera and free 6 months HBO or Cinemax. the digicam is not a very good one but still ok for normal point and shoot. so expect more pictures on my blog...haha.
sprained my thumb last sat while playing volleyball. it is still hurting after a week. it affected my game quite a lot yesterday but somehow the pain went away after a while. had a few satisfying games after that, both as setter and quick spiker. had a lot of fun playing quick spikes at the beach all thanks to this chinese setter who suggested it. talking about volleyball, the institue varsity polytechnic competition is coming up soon. somehow i dont get the vote of confidence from my nyp team mates even though i have improved a lot and this has affected my confidence level while playing with them resulting in lousy performances. even then i am determined to play in this ivp. hopefully will be able to attend the trainings and train hard as the critical period b4 the ivp clashes with my attachment.
waiting for all my pay checks to come in now. maybe can sneak in a short getaway before attachment starts again.
