220606 0950 heralds the embarkment of a new journey for my good friend of 10 years. even though we seldom meet up towards the later part of the 10 years, he was a friend i can count on in times of need. someone i can just call anytime knowing that he will do his best to help. he has left his friends, family and home to work in china for a few years, with the possibility that he might be staying for good. i know i will miss him. take care and hope u enjoy ur new life over there :)
the world cup is building up to be one of the best ever. the stars are performing to their expectations. this world cup has seen such a overwhelming pool of talent. messi, gerrard, klose, riquelme, ronaldinho, torres and the list goes on. there are no lack of last gasp winners or equalisers and upsets. teams who are doing well based on teamwork and determination (ghana and korea). most importantly there are lots of goals. im enjoying every moment of it~ =)

today has got to be the best night of my world cup betting so far. exact score on england winning 2-0 and sweden drawing at half time and winning at full time. this will be the start of my winnings after some freak results from the countries' first matches.
hee actually i also dun bet a lot. but when there is a wager, however big or small, just makes watching the match tat much more exciting. especially when u are the only one at home watching in the wee hours of the night. it has certainly made watching the england match so exciting that i was on the edge of my seat for the whole 2nd half and when gerrard scored the 2nd goal in the 91st min, i jumped out of my seat and shouted gooaall as though i was the scorer.
wat a bad bad neighbour i am ;P
