dear planned a very special birthday for me. we rented a car for the day and went many places! there were many surprises planned for me.

my 23rd birthday blackforest cake from secret recipe. didnt expect any cake at this time as there was obviously no cake in the car. this is one of the surprise she managed to pull off =)

on mount faber. dear lied that we are going there to waste some time before going for dinner somewhere else.
surprise no 2. little did i know that we will end up at a al fresco restaurant on mount faber. the lamb rack and steak were very nice~. dear said not to expect much for my birthday present as she already went over her budget and gave me my birthday present of a box of my fav chocolate.
went to km8 on tanjong beach next. it was already closed and we found a beach chair with a table and we set up our drinks.
dear ask me to take my portable speakers from the car. when i went off, she hid my actual present somewhere and asked me to find it when i came back. it was quite embarassing looking under the chairs when there are a few other couples around. however it was kinda fun...haha. and this is wat i found. something which i wanted for quite some time!
we arranged the tealights together. such a beautiful sight ;)
soaking in the ambience and slacking.
went for supper after this and tried to watch the sunrise at east coast park but it was too cloudy tat day to have any nice views. nevertheless it was the most memorable birthday of my life. thank you dear for everything!
