work today was generally quite relaxing. set up our lcd tv and dvr set top box in a function room near the swimming pool. the room had air con, sofas and even a fridge. there was not much customers too. met a fren at bedok blk 85 for dinner after work. haven been there for a long long time. still loved the bak chor mee and or lua there. decided to go back to the playground for a look since i haven been there for quite some time. therefore my fren brought me to a bus stop where there are buses that can go there. din know blk 85 is within a short walking distance from the bus stop i used to transfer bus to her house. i dunno if sitting at the playground made me more emotional but i sent her the first sms since we broke up to ask to be friends again....

brought my grandma to ttsh for followup yesterday since im so free. she had a mild AMI a few months back and the doctor wants to see the progress of the medication. waited for almost 4 hours and caused me to be late for my dinner date. hai...now i can understand my patients who always waited for so long.
went shopping at queensway today. bought some really nice and cheap stuff...haha. and on the way back i went into the lift with someone living in my block and a golden retriever! wat a beautiful dog! played with her a bit while in the lift. haha so happy to see a golden retriever in my block as they are actually too big to be allowed to keep in hdb flats.
going to work for starhub at a condominium roadshow tmr. they called me at 9pm plus and need a person urgently and i decided to help them since i have nothing to do anyway. always hear my colleagues say this kind of roadshow got bikini babes to see. haha shall see whether tats true tmr.

wow kim ah joong is so soo beautiful. im in love with her~ haha. i tink i have never been so mesmerised by any actress before. the eye candy totally justified the price of the ticket for the 200 pounds beauty. when she first sang the song maria in the show, i fell in love with the song. i had been hearing the song quite a few times on radio but hearing it from her and her stage presence is just so different. dunno if she really sang the song. if she did, she would be perfect already ;). the show is funny and my fren feasted her eyes on the handsome producer too. its ending soon so go catch it before its gone. watch the mv of the song here.
i received news that i have to start work earlier. its both gd and bad at the same time. gd because i got something to keep me occupied, get paid earlier and i dun have to be in the dilemma of whether to go hongkong. bad because i dunno whether i need more time. whatever it is, i have agreed to start and i will do my best.

saw a very comical sight at labyrinth yesterday. cannot drink dun drink and make a fool of yourself...haha.
im just one last step to a holiday in hong kong. got the money, available flights and accomodation. however suddenly lost the urge to go liao. when i planned the trip its to let her see that im still able to go on the trip without her just like wat she's doing. actually i dun really want to go hk at all. i would prefer taiwan. but i cant go there because she's going. another reason why i dun feel like going is because im worried that going on the holiday will constantly remind me of the fact tat we were supposed to go on the trip together. hai...still considering whether to book or not...

played mahjong on saturday. it was going well at first. then came the ultimate blow. my fren already pong the bai pan and hong zhong so it was bao fai cai. as it was relatively early in the game and my hand was not bad, i decided to throw away my only fai cai in case later on in the game he really got 2 fai cai to pong. he really pong the fai cai! and to make things worse, he zhi mo his winning tile. i had to pay the maximum amount for everybody. really demoralised after tat. it was the only time in my life tat i see someone win a da san yuan and i tio bao. but at least the session was worth it. had a gd time laughing at things and people...haha. went for a free breakfast treated by the winner at geylang after tat. slept 3 hours and went for lunch at sakae sushi to celebrate peishan's bday. its a long time since i ate sakae man. din know we can make orders on the computers now...haha. photoblog next.

tonight was the night i enjoyed myself most after so long. talking with the staff, playing the dice bluff game and cards, unlimited drinks, singing and talking with friends. havent laugh so much since. had a meaningful talk with someone tat build up my self esteem once again. i felt so much better. realised that there are still many people with expectations of me and i cant let them down.
after talking with a few people today, i've realised a few things. i've seen through friends that i had treasured before. finally saw who my true friends are after this 3 years. but i cant blame them either as they have their own reasons. and there are things tat are worth it and things tat are not. found back my direction in life. to do my best as a radiographer and work hard to repay my parents. to enjoy life while i can and live life to the fullest. haha tink everyone always say this after a breakup. but this was what i was already trying to do before i got attached. felt rejuvenated once again. our memories will forever be kept in a special corner of my heart. may you find happiness :)
tonight will be the night i tink i can finally sleep well. have been sleeping at 6 plus the past few days and finding myself waking up at 10 in the morning and unable to sleep again. tmr will be a new chapter of my life :)

Lesson 1: Naked Wife
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, “I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.” After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob.

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out. The Genie says, “I'll give each of you just one wish”
“Me first! Me first!” says the admin. clerk. “I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.” Poof! She’s gone.
“Me next! Me next!” says the sales rep. “I want to be in Hawaii,relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.” Poof! He's gone.
“OK, you're up,” the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, “I want those two back in the office after lunch.”
Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say.

Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up.
Lesson 5: Power of Charisma
A turkey was chatting with a bull “I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree,” sighed the turkey, but I haven't got the energy.” “Well, why don't you nibble on my droppings?” replied the bull. “They're packed with nutrients.” The turkey pecked at a lump of dung and found that it gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, there he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. Soon he was spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.
Moral of the story: Bullsht might get you to the top, but it wont keep you there.
Lesson 6
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.
Moral of the story:1. Not everyone who shts on you is your enemy
2. Not everyone who gets you out of sht is your friend
3. And when you're in deep sht, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

avril lavigne's "girlfriend" has been playing non stop on mtv. rather liked it at first but now i tink its overplayed to the point of annoying. the interview for a part time job went well today. the interviewer was very pleased with me but alas hes only doing the initial screening. there might be a 2nd round by the manager or i might be asked to start work straight. im hoping for the best :)
went to another ktv pub near clarke quay today. my friend had a bottle of chivas there and we went there for some drinks. finally learnt from the waitress there how to play the dice game after so long...haha. and its the first time i sang in public! not alone lah...still dun dare to sing alone. yaya u guys are going to say im torturing the people there. but im really trying not to le...if i cannot reach the pitch i will keep quiet and let the original voice play...lol.
the pub was getting crowded and i suddenly had the urge to play pool at ard 11pm and we went to park lane. the place really cannot make it. the tables are old, the cues are lousy and the place damn quiet. after playing 2 games, we left. we went to the pool parlour at paradiz but it was closing. so had no choice but to go to that place. i had been going to tat place even b4 i was together with her so im not trying any stunts ok. i saw someone i know and my worry was confirmed. i couldnt care less and i was not going to spoil my night. went ahead and played at that place. the place was so much better. enjoyed the game a lot coz i have improved so much from yesterday. getting back a bit of the feel. won every single game partly due to my improvement and my friend's rustiness...haha. rushed home to watch the chelsea match which im waiting for now :) .
had a lot of mixed feelings. i really dunno how much is friendship to some people. 2 years of friendship and some even 3 and it is gone just like tat. maybe my view of friendship is different ba. even if i dun meet a gd friend for 1 yr and he needs my help, i will be the first one to rush down. luckily i still have a grp of gd friends that share the same sentiments/thinking as me. but still there are other feelings inside me and i really dunno wat to do abt them.

it is so irritating. y must it rain almost every afternoon. anyway was watching this new show on chn 46. its call pool bingo. its a variety show in which they play bingo using pool (as in billards) and also many other games. the world female champion is one of the hosts and you will get to see her play a bit. its quite interesting and as i sat there watching, i suddenly got the urge to play pool. so called one friend who stays nearby for a game of pool and she agreed readily. thanks :) . hadnt played pool for a long time and i suck big time...haha. but its ok...lotsa time to improve during this holiday. my plans of a overseas trip is now cancelled so i've got plenty of time to rot.

played mahjong today! started with one round of 20 40 and i lost quite a bit. just woke up not long ago before playing and maybe i haven recover from the effects of yesterday alcohol. losing woke my senses and i fared so much better in the 2nd round which they increased the stakes to 40 80. recoup my losses and won a bit :) . first time play mahjong and drink red wine at the same time...haha. thanks to the host.
chelsea got into the final of the FA cup. really admire their determination and fighting spirit. despite a injury hit season, they are still in the running for all 4 competitions and winning so many matches at the last minute due to their never say die attitude. dunno how long they can maintain this though as it is really very physically straining after such a hard season. man utd impressed me with their demolition of roma a while back. especially ronaldo who has improved tremendously this season. call me jealous but i still dont like his looks :p. its gonna be an exciting finish to the title race if chelsea can keep this up.
neglected a lot of friends this past yr. therefore im very touched that they are still here for me in times of need. im really so blessed to have so many true friends. quote of the day from a friend a few days back: many things in life are very simple, its humans tat complicate matters. found it so true. tmr is gonna be a better day :) .

It's titled "for one more day". judging from the synopsis and the title, it seems like a good book abt someone with regrets and he has one day to make do what he wanted. loved Albom's tuesday with morrie and i hope this will be as good. shall give a review when i am finished with it.
was with 2 friends at orchard and they asked me along to zouk. decided to go since i think the loud music will do me some gd. my friend managed to get free entry for me as her friend happened to have a event pass for the night. this is the first time i clubbed in almost a year and this is certainly the first time i have been to zouk after its major renovation. some new touches here and there but tat spot din change at all. phuture has changed totally. made a lot of new friends and the music was gd after a very slow start. but i still got away from all my friends and found a seat at zouk to rest for a while. cant believe my luck. i actually got touched on the waist by an ah gua (i think so) as she walked past me. yucks. the rest of the night was spent dancing away except for a few "interesting" incidents...haha.
passed by upper serangoon shopping centre. memories came flooding back. just knew abt the trip. happy tat u finally made it for the trip. tmr is gonna be a better day :) .

today was the first day after making tat decision. the decision to take care of myself and not do anymore damage to my body. the day started brightly. i actually managed to get a very unexpected person to go to sentosa with me...haha. just get a cocktail and lie on the beach chair to suntan and read for the whole afternoon. but i guess fri the 13th is really very suay. just as im getting prepared to go, it started raining heavily.
so i had a sudden change of plan to go to the gym. my friend's friend working at the pub had a simple assignment to recommend me next week and i suddenly realised my body had not been in gd shape this few months. decided to buck up and start training. i think its gd to be doing something i used to do for a change.
just when i was leaving, saw something that hurt me very much. i dun care wat u are doing now. rather im happy that u are able to do things i couldnt give u before. but if u want to throw away any things, let me pick them up "by chance". i treasured everything in this relationship and i want to keep these memories with me forever.
on the way to sch, i realised i forgot my admin card. the bad luck never seems to end dont they? luckily they accepted my ez link and i had a constructive gym session. i had been getting msgs from some unexpected people and i really appreciate all the concern. tmr is gonna be a better day :)

watched the reaping last weekend in msia. watching a movie there is just so cheap...even on a weekend its only $4.50...haha. but the show itself is not very gd...its loosely based on the 10 biblical plagues. nothing to complain abt since its so cheap.
the song on my blog is from the movie music and lyrics. there are many nice songs from the movie and this is my favourite, even more than the popular way back into love. i just love this song, simple and nice :)
went to a pub at club street to relax tonight with a friend and her friends. it was nice sitting there talking, drinking and listening to people sing. my friend said that if the other person has already moved on, theres no point staying behind. after tinking much abt this sentence, i agreed too. it was sweet while it lasted. but there is no point just hanging on to memories. especially if im the only one hanging on to it while the other party enjoys her life. from tmr onwards, i shall try to live my life well.
