one week of work has passed. its been a tiring week. fell asleep after dinner every day. but i still sacrificed a few hours of sleep for the champions league final though. luckily it din end in a goal-less draw. work-wise its going quite well. gotten my uniforms and 2 new pairs of leather shoes. like the jacket that we have to wear...made us look more professional. downside being that it is quite hot to be wearing a long sleeved shirt, tie and a rather thick long sleeved jacket amidst a heavy workload.
haven had the "thank god its friday" feeling for a long time. not since year 2 in nyp ba. going to sch in yr 3 was not bad at all as i was able to see her in school everyday. tink its during working life that we will really appreciate weekends. so made full use of friday night after work and went for some shopping at orchard followed by drinks at zhong huan ktv pub. walked to circular rd for supper after that and also to see the music heritage pub that a few of my friends have been telling me abt. found out that the pub is actually opened by a friend! so the owner my 2 diff grp of friends are telling me abt is actually also my fren. wat a small world.
watched the swatch fivb(international association for beach vball) women's world tour semis on chn 5 today. its the first time an international competitive beach vball competition is held in singapore. and its such a major one. just building the temporary stadium at siloso beach cost US$800,000. the commentators and players seemed quite happy with the venue...a bit strange to say this but i felt kinda proud of singapore. the gers are really gd...too bad the really pretty ones are already knocked out in the first few rounds :p . the 3rd/4th placing and final will be shown on chn 5 at 3pm later today. catch it if u are lazing at home on sunday.
looking forward to my first pay day on the 7th ;)

went dragonfly on saturday again. saw a fren there. she is a very pretty model who seems to be always going out with rich guys. just last sat she was there with 2 other guy frens, one with a 3l hennessy cannon and the other with a 3l chivas cannon. beautiful gers in singapore always seem to have it easy. no lack of rich guys willing to splurge on them either to show off, lay them or make them their gfs due to their neverending love for them after knowing them for one week. anyway wasnt really in the mood to club as there were only 2 other gers and 1 of them left early. so the 2 of us sat at bellini for a long chat and then we had the idea of walking to lau pat sat from harbourfront for supper. we talked the whole journey of 1 hour. its been a long time since i took such a long walk with anyone. we chatted during supper too. im surprised at how much we could talk too...haha.
today was my first day of work. my body clock couldnt adjust back and i only fell asleep at 3am the night b4. spent half a day with orientation and the 2nd half in the department. was posted to gic...which was wat i wanted for my 1st rotation. getting along well with the workflow and hope i'll be more familiar with it sooner. was a bit stressful to be passing films on my own but tink i'll get used to it. gotta rest early for another day of work tmr.

just got home...still a bit groggly. went to labyrinth to play pool and some drinks. finally got to ask tiffany and jiajin down. tink they enjoyed themselves today...esp jiajin. but the pool was expensive. have u heard of anyone paying fourty over dollars for just a few hours of pool? haha...but it was rather worth it as the table and cues are gd. after drinking quite a bit of chivas i still headed down to dragonfly with one of labyrinth's staff. got a table and we drank her balance bottle of martell. still not used to martell and green tea...prefer coke. even though a bottle is not as expensive as i thought (a bottle of martell for $170+ for members), u still have to pay for every jug of mixer for $8. tink u'll need at least 5 jugs of mixer for a bottle which will equal to $40. dropped my pierre cardin coin purse on the taxi...was always careful when i wear this jeans with shallow pockets but tink i was not in the proper state to double check my pockets today.
it has been a busy week. finally watched spiderman 3. it was quite funny to see so many guys sniffing after the emotional ending. dunno if i can still wake up for mahjong tmr. shall try to grab a wink. hope i dun lose too much again ;)

decide to renew my islander card today after much consideration. cafe del mar is a nice place to chill out. u can either suntan on the beach beds, decks or in the pool. theres a ledge at the sides of the pool where u can sit down and relax in the water. theres a pool bar right beside the pool too. drinks are reasonably priced and u can order drinks like coffee and shakes etc if u dun wanna drink alcohol. excellent shower facilities too...got shower head with heater. will find time to go back more frequently :) .

was supposed to go to the tertiary fling university edition bash at mos with a fren last thur. but she pang sei at the very very last minute. had a hard time finding ppl to go with me after tat. luckily i manage to get a fren along with 2 of her frens and her boss. i got to mos at 1045 and there was a very long queue so i dun tink i can use the free entry for the bash le. found out later that my fren's boss is a vip there and he signed all of us in and brought us to the tattinger lounge. it was an eye opener...its really a place for the atas people. theres a window where u can look down at the dancefloor. had some nice whisky too...McConnell's single malt whisky. my fren's fren who was an ex sia stewardess said they dun even serve that in business class...only in first class. haven even finish the first bottle when he opened another...tat is life~ ;).
slept only 2 hours b4 i joined some frens at sentosa for some beach volleyball. in the end they were even later than me. should really have slept another hour. the vball was gd...took some time to get used to playing vball again but soon we were having fun receiving, setting and spiking. it was made better by the fact we had a whole court to ourselves so we played 2 on 2 all day long. got a little sunburnt again.
had really bad luck playing mahjong on sat afternoon. lost abt $30 bucks. on at least 3 occasions i was waiting for a winning tile of 5 tai. in the end someone else won. and i was waiting for some really easy tiles, like 2 winds of no tai and 2, 5, and 8 wan. my fren was nice enough to treat me to dinner after tat :) . thanks.
was going to rush down to st james b4 9 to get free entry and then go to vivo to walk walk b4 meeting my frens at st james later to save some money due to losing at mahjong :( . reached home too late so couldnt go down early in the end. luckily my fren got the outlet manager at bellini to put us on the guest list :) . if this carry on i tink i will not be used to paying cover charge in the future...haha. went to power house, bellini, boiler room and dragonfly. dun really like the music at power house and the dancefloor at boiler room was too small. dragonfly is where all the pretty ladies are. however they are all there with the rich guys. bottles of martell and hennessy everywhere. on the table in front of us, there were 2 martells, 1 chivas and a bottle of hennessy. my fren told me that sometimes even if u want to open bottle also got no table for you. no wonder dragonfly is raking in the highest profits for st james. kinda like the place even though there are many complains from other frens. too crowded and full of uncles. probably will be going back there again.
watched deal or no deal on chn 5 just now. been hearing a lot abt the pretty models on the show. haha now even chn 5 have to resort to this kind of gimmicks. however the show was pretty interesting. the participant has to pick a briefcase at the beginning of the show. along the way he will be opening the other suitcases which has an amount of money inside. as the possibilities get lesser, the "banker" will offer the participant a higher and higher of money to deal. the participant will have to decide between taking the money or continue to open more suitcases and determine what is the amount of money in the suitcase he has chosen.
hmm...this is my 2nd last weekend b4 i start work. time really flies by. one last week to enjoy. running low on cash though. spent almost 1.5k on just meals and entertainment since my holidays 6 weeks ago. will do my best to make full use of this week w/o spending too much.

went sentosa on labour day. its the first time i took the sentosa express since it was ready. my friends were complaining that the waiting time is very long. they should see the pre-sentosa express days. getting to the beach was such a hassle. so im actually quite happy that the sentosa express is finally ready. cafe del mar looks so nice...im tempted to renew my islander membership and going there frequently ;) . saw my old clique of beach vballers there. one of them had a new dog. its a mixed breed of siberian husky and sheltland sheepdog. its a funny combination really. even the dog looks funny but it was still cute. its still very scared of water when my friend tried to bring him swimming...haha. shall post pics of it when i get them from them from my friend...she's forever so slow.
sentosa express!!
another embarassing thing to admit here. its my first time to MOS last sat. it was always very crowded when it opened one year ago so i din want to go then. din club at all during this one year so had no chance to visit MOS. i tink i prefer MOS over zouk/phuture. firstly the r&b section is bigger than phuture which is so packed. secondly, the crowd is good. the ratio of gers to guys was quite good even on a saturday day where the nsf are supposed to flood the clubs. the only bad thing is that they seemed to be a little understaffed...had to wait quite long to order a drink(even paying non coupon ones). i'll be receiving my membership card soon :)
what was to be a session of pool became another drinks and ktv session at labyrinth on monday. its the first time we managed to sing so many songs there. kept requesting songs for marvin who is such a gd singer...haha. saw 3 china women who are regulars there. they are damn hiong...3 of them finish 2 bottles of martell in a night. and the 3rd one only joined them later. they were drinking the martell neat in shots. whoa~
many people ask who is the purpose of a blog. they dun write a blog nor do they read others'. to them its just a form of narcissism. i beg to differ. a blog can update my friends how i have been doing during the time we are unable to catch up. its the same when i read their blogs...in fact i do hope more friends are writing blogs so i can keep up to date with their lives. at least then i would know when they are not doing so well and i can meet up with them. another reason is to share gd or interesting things with my friends. haha just some random rambling again. till my next update. meantime enjoy the song maria~ :)

bloody hell! someone hacked into my friendster, email, and my msn. he/she deleted my friendster acct, clear all my inbox and change my msn password. if its just a random prankster/hacker, why me? if its someone i know, how did he/she know my friendster password which is different from my email and msn? really feel like reporting this to the police and see what can be done to catch the culprit. but its probably not worth the hassle.

im down with a serious bout of diarrhea these 2 days. i've been passing out water for 2 whole days. it has gotten even worse today. in less than half a day i have been to the toilet 5-6 times. no medicine i ate has helped, not western pills or chinese bao ji wan. at this rate im going on drip in the hospital soon.
