one week of work has passed. its been a tiring week. fell asleep after dinner every day. but i still sacrificed a few hours of sleep for the champions league final though. luckily it din end in a goal-less draw. work-wise its going quite well. gotten my uniforms and 2 new pairs of leather shoes. like the jacket that we have to wear...made us look more professional. downside being that it is quite hot to be wearing a long sleeved shirt, tie and a rather thick long sleeved jacket amidst a heavy workload.
haven had the "thank god its friday" feeling for a long time. not since year 2 in nyp ba. going to sch in yr 3 was not bad at all as i was able to see her in school everyday. tink its during working life that we will really appreciate weekends. so made full use of friday night after work and went for some shopping at orchard followed by drinks at zhong huan ktv pub. walked to circular rd for supper after that and also to see the music heritage pub that a few of my friends have been telling me abt. found out that the pub is actually opened by a friend! so the owner my 2 diff grp of friends are telling me abt is actually also my fren. wat a small world.
watched the swatch fivb(international association for beach vball) women's world tour semis on chn 5 today. its the first time an international competitive beach vball competition is held in singapore. and its such a major one. just building the temporary stadium at siloso beach cost US$800,000. the commentators and players seemed quite happy with the venue...a bit strange to say this but i felt kinda proud of singapore. the gers are really gd...too bad the really pretty ones are already knocked out in the first few rounds :p . the 3rd/4th placing and final will be shown on chn 5 at 3pm later today. catch it if u are lazing at home on sunday.
looking forward to my first pay day on the 7th ;)
