was supposed to go to the tertiary fling university edition bash at mos with a fren last thur. but she pang sei at the very very last minute. had a hard time finding ppl to go with me after tat. luckily i manage to get a fren along with 2 of her frens and her boss. i got to mos at 1045 and there was a very long queue so i dun tink i can use the free entry for the bash le. found out later that my fren's boss is a vip there and he signed all of us in and brought us to the tattinger lounge. it was an eye opener...its really a place for the atas people. theres a window where u can look down at the dancefloor. had some nice whisky too...McConnell's single malt whisky. my fren's fren who was an ex sia stewardess said they dun even serve that in business class...only in first class. haven even finish the first bottle when he opened another...tat is life~ ;).
slept only 2 hours b4 i joined some frens at sentosa for some beach volleyball. in the end they were even later than me. should really have slept another hour. the vball was gd...took some time to get used to playing vball again but soon we were having fun receiving, setting and spiking. it was made better by the fact we had a whole court to ourselves so we played 2 on 2 all day long. got a little sunburnt again.
had really bad luck playing mahjong on sat afternoon. lost abt $30 bucks. on at least 3 occasions i was waiting for a winning tile of 5 tai. in the end someone else won. and i was waiting for some really easy tiles, like 2 winds of no tai and 2, 5, and 8 wan. my fren was nice enough to treat me to dinner after tat :) . thanks.
was going to rush down to st james b4 9 to get free entry and then go to vivo to walk walk b4 meeting my frens at st james later to save some money due to losing at mahjong :( . reached home too late so couldnt go down early in the end. luckily my fren got the outlet manager at bellini to put us on the guest list :) . if this carry on i tink i will not be used to paying cover charge in the future...haha. went to power house, bellini, boiler room and dragonfly. dun really like the music at power house and the dancefloor at boiler room was too small. dragonfly is where all the pretty ladies are. however they are all there with the rich guys. bottles of martell and hennessy everywhere. on the table in front of us, there were 2 martells, 1 chivas and a bottle of hennessy. my fren told me that sometimes even if u want to open bottle also got no table for you. no wonder dragonfly is raking in the highest profits for st james. kinda like the place even though there are many complains from other frens. too crowded and full of uncles. probably will be going back there again.
watched deal or no deal on chn 5 just now. been hearing a lot abt the pretty models on the show. haha now even chn 5 have to resort to this kind of gimmicks. however the show was pretty interesting. the participant has to pick a briefcase at the beginning of the show. along the way he will be opening the other suitcases which has an amount of money inside. as the possibilities get lesser, the "banker" will offer the participant a higher and higher of money to deal. the participant will have to decide between taking the money or continue to open more suitcases and determine what is the amount of money in the suitcase he has chosen.
hmm...this is my 2nd last weekend b4 i start work. time really flies by. one last week to enjoy. running low on cash though. spent almost 1.5k on just meals and entertainment since my holidays 6 weeks ago. will do my best to make full use of this week w/o spending too much.
